Pilot schemes are usually subsidised, and participation may be less expensive than accredited schemes. Pilot schemes are NOT covered by the scope of EMQN’s accreditation and do not have an appeals process. Some Pilot schemes are run where labs can express an interest but may not be chosen to participate. Registering an interest is done by purchasing the scheme but the fee will usually be £0.00 at the point of registration. If there are fees for the schemes, the selected labs will have these added to their invoices. You will be notified if selected or not.
