User Data Retention
EMQN follows applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), when managing and deleting personal data.
Please note the following:
- Users who have not logged in for 2 years will have their account marked as dormant. Logging in will re-activate your account.
- If a dormant account remains inactive for a further 5 years (7 years of inactivity in total), the user's personal data will be permanently deleted from the system in accordance with our data retention policies.
- Where personal data must be retained for legal, regulatory, financial, or audit purposes, EMQN may retain certain records for the period required by law.
