EMQN is committed to keeping EQA participation fees as affordable as possible and recognises that the cost of EQA can be challenging for some laboratories.
Laboratories located in countries classified as Emerging Market and Developing Economies (EMDEs) in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) World Economic Outlook may apply for a reduced participation fee. Approved laboratories can benefit from a significant reduction in EQA fees for up to four years, provided they agree to continue participating in EMQN EQA schemes at the standard rate thereafter.

- All applications are subject to review and approval by EMQN.
- Eligibility based on country classification does not automatically guarantee acceptance.
- Any approved fee reductions are applied at the time of purchase.
- Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively once schemes have been purchased.
