Each year, EMQN enters into agreements with sponsors who contribute towards the cost of participation in selected EQA schemes. These sponsorship agreements are reviewed and renewed annually.
Partially Sponsored Schemes
For partially sponsored schemes, a proportion of the participation fee is covered by the sponsor, resulting in a reduced fee for participating laboratories. The subsidised fee payable by the laboratory will be displayed on the purchase page.
Please note that:
- Places are often limited.
- The fee shown is the amount payable by the laboratory.
- The sponsor does not pay this amount on your behalf.
Fully Sponsored Schemes
For fully sponsored schemes, the entire participation fee is covered by the sponsor and the scheme fee displayed during registration will be £0.00.
Please note that:
- Places are often limited.
- If you register only for fully sponsored schemes, you will not receive an invoice.
- The fee displayed on the purchase page represents the amount payable by the laboratory, which in this case is £0.00.
Additional Charges
Depending on the specific sponsorship agreement, additional services or materials—such as replacement samples or supplementary materials—may still be chargeable for both partially and fully sponsored schemes.
Any such charges will be clearly indicated:
- During the purchase process,
- On replacement sample request forms, and/or
- Within the Scheme Catalogue.
Important: Sponsored schemes are often very popular and may reach capacity before the registration deadline. We strongly recommend registering as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
